Andrey Eletskiy is a painter artist and musician. He comes from one of the oldest Russian boyar families. Before becoming a painter artist he worked as a professional musician. This circumstance is essential and has mad a very positive impact on his work as a painter. Andrey Eletskiy’s work is usually referred to neo-expressionism, fantastical realism or postmodernism. The well known Russian painter Misha Brusilovskiy said: “With Andrey the love is mutual – he loves to paint and the paint loves him!”. Andrey Eletskiy has participated at international music festivals, competitions and concerts as well as art exhibitions in Russia and abroad. He is a member of the Creative Union of artists of Russia and a member of the Union of journalists of Russia. He was awarded the diploma of the Russian Academy of arts. His paintings can be found in many different places - from the Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) to the famous cafe "Idiot". His works are in private collections in Russia and abroad - in Germany, France, England, Finland and other countries.
