Vladimir Zhukov was born in 1941 in the town of Berezovsky, Sverdlovsk region. He graduated in 1961 from art vocational school ?42. Many years worked successfully in advertising. From 1980 he is a constant participant of all-Soviet Union and zonal exhibitions. He joined to the Russia Painters Union in 1990. Personal exhibition of Vladimir Zhukov took place not only in Russia, but also abroad (Warsaw, 1993; Stockholm 1993; Helsinki, 2000). The author of numerous sculptures and interiors in Ekaterinburg (Russia). The artist's works are in the collections of the Tretyakov gallery, the Museum of Modern art in Tsaritsyno, the Yekaterinburg Museum of fine arts. In private collections in Germany, Russia, Poland, USA, Sweden and Finland.
