Yuri Pervushin
Graphic artist, painter.
Member of the Russia Painters Union.
Yuri Pervushin was born in 1970 in Nalchik. A talented artist, graduate of Sverdlovsk art school named after Ivan Shadr in 1989. In 1995 he graduated from St-Petersburg Academy of paining, architecture and sculpture named after I.E. Repin, the studio of professor A.A. Pakhomov. In the same 1995 he passed the training course of the National School of fine arts in Paris (atelier of professors B. Pifaretti and J-P. Tanguy) and became laureate of the art competition organized by National Museum of the Louvre, the Museum of modern arts (Paris), and LVMN company in 1996. Participant over 100 personal and group exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Currently lives and works in Saint-Petersburg (Russia).
His works are performed in regular museum expositions: the Museum of Benois (Russia); Yekaterinburg state Museum of fine arts; the Collection of contemporary art (Central exhibition hall "Manege", St. Petersburg); the Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao, Spain); Museum of contemporary Russian art (new Jersey, USA); Municipal arts centre (Vress, Belgium); national art Museum of Sakha Republic (Yakutsk, Russia).
