Painter

Nikolai Korznyakov was born in 1958 in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Region, Russia. In 1986 he graduated from the Fine Arts and Graphics department of State Pedagogic University (Nizhny Tagil). His degree work was devoted to “Seasons of the Year”. Became a member of the Young Artists Association, since 1996 he is a member of the Russian Artists Union. Participated in the VI-th regional exhibition in Sverdlovsk (1985), in the VII-th regional exhibition in Kurgan, in the “Urals Artists Exhibition” in Moscow (1987), in the IX-th regional exhibition “The Urals” in Ekaterinburg (1987). Personal exhibitions in Ekaterinburg (1993, 1995, 2007), in Nizhny Tagil (1994, 2005). Beginning 1990 he is a free lance artist, most of his time he devotes to painting from life, to numerous artistic tours over the Urals region and to creating works based on his own material. Many of his paintings are owned by private collections in Russia and abroad.
