Antonov Andrey Gennadievich was born in 1944 in Sverdlovsk (USSR). The sculptor, graphic. Graduated from the Moscow High Art-Industrial School (former Stroganovskoie) in 1973. He is a member of the "Russia Painters Union". His works are presented in regular expositions of museums (Moscow, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Barnaul, Krasnoyarsk and in the other cities of Russia), as well as in private collections in Russia, USA, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland. The Author of monuments "Menschikov in Beresov", monument of Tatischev (founder of Ekaterinburg sity), monument of famous russian writer Anton Schehov, monument of soldiers-north-urals fallen in the Second Wold war; the sculptural compositions: "Pieta", "Wounded", "Veteran", "Aggression", "Travellers", "Self-feeling". The Sculptures and monuments are installed in Ekaterinburg (Russia), Severouralisk (Russia), Petropavlovsk (Russia), Solikamsk (Russia), Plizen (Poland).
Since 1971 - participation into international, republic, zone, regional and city exhibitions.
