 Suren Hondkarian

Suren Hondkarian was born in 1955 in Moscow. Graduated from the Art College and The Perm State Pedagogical University, The Department of Art and Graphic. Works and lives in Ekaterinburg (Russia). Preferences: easel painting, graphics art and sculpture. He works in style of metarealism. Participated in more than 50 exhibitions in Russia, France (“Lafaiet” and “Grant-Opera” galleries) and Holland. His works are presented in museums and private collections in Russia, Europe, USA. In 1997 he organized an informal painters union “The Surikova,31” and was elected as its director.
