Aleksandr Davydenko
Painter
Aleksandr Yuryevich Davydenko, was born in 1986, in Alma-Ata. Graduated from Classical Gymnasium of Arts, the department of Arts and Crafts. Attended the course of the profile school “Daryn”. Took part in different exhibitions: “Karnaval Krasok” (The Karnival of Paints), the gallery “Tengri Umai” (1997); a regional exhibition with the support of fund “Soros”, Alma-Ata (1998); the exhibition of modern art «Art – Style», San Jose, USA (2004).
The artist tried different fields - from wood engraving and moulding, to clothes-, web-, interior design and multiplication. At the moment he works in graphics and painting.
The painter so talks about his professional view:
“ I admire the expression “Everything what is genious is simple!”. That’s why I have always dreamt to learn how to show the essence of things using minimum of lines. For example, to paint a figure afoot. It turned out to be not so easy. Having appeared on the paper, the line starts playing with the infinity of different images – from a skinny runner in shirts, ready to start fighting for victory, to a sea wave in clouds of foam, stirred by a heavy wind…”
